Questions, answered
We run a brand about complaining well, so it would be rude to make you complain about a vague FAQ. Here is what we actually know.
Orders & delivery
What does "made to order" actually mean?
It means your piece does not exist until you buy it. We hold no stock. When your order comes in, the design is printed onto a blank garment, checked, and sent to you. That is why nothing here goes on markdown and why delivery takes longer than it would from a warehouse full of pre-printed shirts.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Your exact delivery estimate is shown at checkout, for your address, before you pay. That is the number to trust. As a guide, at the time of writing a tee delivered to a French address is quoted 12 to 35 business days, and the same tee to a United States address is quoted 4 to 10 business days, because it is produced closer to you. Made to order is slower than stocked fast fashion. We would rather tell you that than surprise you.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your destination and the weight of the order, so it is shown to you in full before you pay. As a guide, one tee to a Paris address is €11.70. We do not currently run a free shipping threshold. If you see one advertised anywhere on this site, it is an error and the price at checkout is the correct one.
Which countries do you ship to?
Over 100 countries, including every European Union member state, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates and Israel. Enter your address at checkout and it will tell you straight away whether we can reach you, and for how much.
In which currency am I charged?
Prices adapt to where you are. A French visitor sees euros, a visitor in the United States sees dollars, a visitor in the United Kingdom sees pounds. You are charged in the currency displayed at checkout, and that total is the final one.
Can I track my order?
Yes. A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order leaves production. If it has not arrived, check the address on your order confirmation first, then write to us with your order number.
How do I pay?
Payment is taken on Shopify’s secure hosted checkout. The methods available to you depend on your country and are listed on the payment step, so you will see your options before you commit. We never see or store your card details.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Write to us as fast as you can, with your order number. Because every piece is printed for you individually, there is a short window before it enters production, and once the printer has started we cannot pull it back. Wrong size caught in the first hour is usually fixable. Wrong size caught in the second week is not.
Returns & problems
What is your return policy?
Our published refund policy gives you 30 days from receiving your item to request a return. The piece must come back unworn, unused, with its tags and original packaging, and you need your receipt or proof of purchase. Start by contacting us, do not post anything back before we have agreed it, because returns sent without a prior request cannot be accepted. The refund policy page is the authoritative version and is linked at the bottom of this page.
My item arrived damaged, misprinted or wrong. What now?
Tell us immediately and send a photo of the item and of the packaging. This is the one case where you should not wait. A print defect, a fault in the garment or the wrong item sent is our mistake, not yours, and we sort it out. Please inspect your order as soon as it lands rather than a month later.
Can I return a personalised piece?
A piece carrying your own photo, name or logo cannot be resold to anyone else, so it is handled case by case rather than under the standard return route. Contact us before sending anything back. If we printed it wrong, or it arrived faulty, that is always on us and is covered. Check your spelling carefully on the preview before you order, we print exactly what you upload.
Product, sizing & care
What size should I order?
Our tees run from XS to 5XL. Every product page lists the sizes available for that specific piece, and the fit is a regular unisex cut, so if you like a roomier drape take one size up. Sizing is the single most common reason people write to us, so if you are between two sizes, ask us before you order rather than after. Made to order means an exchange costs everyone time.
How do I wash it without ruining the print?
Turn the garment inside out, wash cold on a gentle cycle, and tumble dry low or hang it to dry. Do not iron directly onto the print, and skip the bleach and the fabric softener. Treated that way the print outlives most of your opinions.
Is Emma X a real person?
No. Emma X is our fictional house character, an AI-generated Parisienne who wears the collection and stands in for the customer we design for. We would rather say so plainly than let you assume she is a model we hired.
Personalisation & business orders
Can I put my own photo or text on a product?
Yes, on the pieces built for it. Those products carry an upload field directly on their page, where you add your image and see a preview before adding to the cart. It covers mugs, bottles, phone cases, engraved pendants, embroidered caps and kids tees, among others. Upload the highest resolution file you have, because a small blurry logo prints as a small blurry logo.
Do you take corporate or bulk orders?
Yes, from 20 pieces, with your logo on tees, crewnecks, mugs, bottles, tumblers, totes and caps. Fill in the brief form, we send a digital mockup within 48h, and nothing is produced until you have approved it. Volume pricing applies from the first 20.
Do you sell in physical shops?
Not yet. Everything is sold here, printed for you individually. Holding no stock is the whole point of how we work, and a shop floor needs stock.
Still stuck?
Write to us. A real person reads it, Monday to Friday, 9h to 18h Paris time.
